Baroque and Rococo decor are popular styles, and bedrooms are one of the places in your home where these eras of design can shine. The characteristics of Baroque furniture and Rococo elements are perfect for a space meant to be opulent, relaxing and luxurious. Curving lines, ample embellishment and sumptuous fabrics, which are typical of these styles, make a bedroom extra special.
To give the room a sense of warmth and elegance, I suggest looking at lamps with a nice bronze finish. They are often what vintage and antique lamps are made out of. For the more modern rooms, I recommended looking for ceramic lamps (sometimes made out of ivory also) as they are more than perfect that style of bedroom. Asian-inspired lamps (e.g Chinese and Japanese) are quickly becoming popular styles as they provide a real sense of culture and history. These lamps consist of an inner steel frames that gives the lamp shade a distinct Asian-style look.
Alternatively, the bed can be the only black piece of furniture in the room. This will allow it to stand out by contrasting with the nightstands and dresser. If these are white, then a timeless color combination is established and it can be repeated throughout the room’s décor in a lot of different ways.
But if you think that having only one color in a room is too boring or too difficult , you should try a nice combination between two colors. The most recommended colors for combinations are black and white with whatever other color you may want. But if you want to have a nice, but still vibrant bedroom that shows sensuality and style you may think of a red and black bedroom .
