Traditional themes like baseball for boys; princesses for girls, or jungle themes for twins have been popular baby room themes for many years. You can pretty much use just about any design theme when it comes to a nursery. There are even many styles that have no "baby" theme per say, but make fun and unique designs for these special rooms. From girly colors like pink, to shades of blue for your new son, there are many choices when it comes to style for your baby’s room.
Colorful things attract babies a lot, so one can make the best use of colors. Quilts too are available in a number of attractive colors for the baby rooms. With some interesting ideas one can really brighten up the look of the entire room. The baby will not remain confined to the crib once it starts crawling. It can be then kept on clean rugs or quilts with soft toys around. Soft toys ensure safety for the baby.
My sister designed her daughter’s nursery around an ocean theme and now only 18 months after that she has to redecorate. Unfortunately my niece did not like the ocean and fish thing and she seems to be really fond of all types of flowers and little princesses instead. However, this seems to be a change coming too soon for me.
The most important things to remember while you design your baby room is to create a space that you and your baby will enjoy and to have fun with the experience since designing your baby’s room is a joyful occasion that you should be able to look back on fondly.
